I hope they work on all our files soon! I sent off the missing document yesterday via express post so they would get it today. Don't know how much of a delay I'm facing now but keep u guys posted.

I didn't get any AOR yet...

This is just very disappointing. Everyone was getting their AORs consistently till May 1st, and come my file, July 1st weekend had to come, and somehow no one is getting AORs anymore. And still they updated their stats saying "working on application from May 8th" now...

indeed this is very frustrating. But hopefully we will get AORs and even SA by next week. fingers crossed!!

I just called them to ask what is going on. They said they apparently received my file, but no one worked on it yet. She said she will send an email out to them to ask them to look into it. But, no idea when they will respond with an AOR or anything. She said call back after 3 months if nothing happens.

I wish so too. This is just crazy. They have my file sitting there. I am fairly in queue to be looked at. And yet, nothing.

i believe a cic agent can only send case specific inquiries once every 90 days, that is probably why she said to wait 3 months. you can certainly call back again to see if there is an update and talk to someone else, they just won't be able to send another inquiry about your file until 90 days after the first one. They can tell you what info they see in the system.

Considering CIC just started processing may applications last week, i would suspect you will receive aor and sa waaaay before that 90 day period.

Bad news guys! They sent the app back to my husband in Ireland cause I forgot to do some part in the app! So my husband is filing it out for me and going to mail it to me in Canada so I can sign for it and than I have to send it to CIC Missausga. I was electing to hear from them about SA this tuesday! now this is going to set us back 2-3 weeks :/. Will they look at our application once they receive it or will we have to wait even longer? How does it work? Because by the time they get it, it will have surpassed the 55 day mark. I am so angry right now!!!
