PLEASE HELP ME . I M APPROVED AS A SPONSOR AND MY FILE IS TRANSFERRED TO LONDON, and i am given a UCI number , but my wife havent got any mail or anything .. when will she be contacted?

Some visa offices do not contact the applicant to let them know they have received their file (AOR) so she may not hear from the London visa office until they request a document or request her passport.

dont be so worried.. i guess it's normal not to hear from them.. i, too havent received any acknowledgment email that they received our application. i was only assuming that it's already with them since it showed on ecas that they have received my medical.

Hello,So i got an email today from Manila Embassy asking for my husband's passport or PPR but it seems that PPR nowadays is the AOR 2 where the home VO confirms application received.anyways THANK GOD!!!

wow! that's a quick one. Less than 3 mos. Now, I'm starting to wonder if it's better i chose Manila VO than Abu Dhabi VO.

I think the Visa Office depends on where the person you're sponsoring lives.?

I haven't recieved any emails from cic but i checked the status of my application through cic and stated DECISION MADE last july 28 just two months after they recieved my application. I then called cic call center to verify. They told me i was approved and papers were sent to manila visa office my husband will have his medical nxtweek. Praying for good results and hopefully fast process of our papers. Thank you Lord!

I mailed my application on may 3rd,2014
i got a status saying now says it says decision made.

in the section of this

1. We received your application to sponsor"husband" on May 9, 2014

2. We sent you a letter on July 10, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. i received the confirmation letter.

In the Permanent Residence Application Status application received. We received "husband's" application for permanent residence on May 9, 2014.

so now The file is Transferred to New Delhi as I have met the Sponsorship requirement.

police and medical originals mailed out together with the file. Medical done april 5,2014, police-april 21,2014.
I have received my confirmation letter on july 10th,2014.

when do you think my husband will get his visa? what are the chances.

i think you may be better off asking this question in the new dehli thread. there may be a spreadsheet that tracks progress so you can see what the current "trend" is.

They ask me to send this to Canadian embassy in Manila in the Visa section.

*fully completed Appendix A(attached) fir you and each of your familyee rs, whether accompaying you to Canada or not. Passport details are not required for any family member who is not accompanying you to Canada.
*Original Passport for you and each family member who will accompany you to Canada to ensure timely processing and facilitate your travel, we strongly recommend that you submit the new red coloured passport......

What it means..I will have Visa soon?

What it means..I will have Visa soon?

It means they received your application from Canada or AOR2 (Acknowledgement of receipt) from Visa Office, they just ask for passport to lessen the processing time. Got my passport request as well im May 13 applicant. Whats your timeline so i could add you on our spreadsheet..wow our VO is working fast!

well, you do have an option whether you want your papers to be processed on your current country of residence or to your home country. i was thinking it will be easier if it will be processed where you currently residing in case they call you for an interview or something. but on the second thought, Manila VO looks faster than Abu Dhabi VO. Based on what i've read on this forum. Just hoping to hear from them soon.

I was just wondering if they request your actual passport for the Ottawa office? I received an email from them, requesting a copy of my passport. Is this the actual "passport request" or was the copy I sent not adequate?
