Our documents arrived on May 13th.

Today we got an email saying I forgot to include form IMM5406. :( I filled it out too... Don't know why we didn't send it. Printing it today and having it sent quickly to Canada (from Korea) along with a copy of the letter. Assuming it takes about a week to get there, does that mean it's just about ~1 week added on to the total processing time? Or do they put me down at the bottom of the pile or something? :(

I guess they won't put you at bottom of the list.... dos not make any sense to me....i guess it will be just another week or so.
but you know this is way more faster technique and helpful that you got a email if you miss a docs..... thankfully they did not send the entire file back.

other thing you mentioned they received your file on May 13, 2014. it means they are checking files from May 2014. Encouraging..
hopefully we will all get approvals pretty soon.

you're one of the "lucky" ones, they didn't sent the whole file back! :) they don't put you at the bottom of the list! just send that file and you'll be fine!

i'm surprised they sent you an e-mail since yours arrived may 13th :o makes me wonder what they did with our app.

Having a missing document can delay the processing. How much is hard to determine as people have had all different experiences with it. We received notice 2 weeks after sending in the package that we forgot to include a form. It took about 2 weeks for it to get delivered from the US! It then took about another week for us to receive AOR and SA. So for us, we have been delayed about a month, as I think we are now being processed as if our application arrived in april instead of march. Not so bad.

Then there are also other people who are STILL waiting for approval from March because of missing documents. No one knows why it takes so long for some. One theory is in the request document, CIC gives a specific amount of time to return the document. In *some* cases, the file seems to be set aside until THAT date, which is called the "bring forward date", and resumed processing then.

There are so many unique elements to this process, that it's really difficult to predict which file will get delayed and which will coast through.

doesn't have anything to do with it, they got AOR's first because CIC received their apps right at the beginning of may. first step approval has the same timeline for all of us.

Congrats to those who already received AOR. More to come next week... :) :) :)

Hey guys, if let's say you received your PPR. Does anyone know how many days should you send your passport to them?

I just got an email from CiC wanting my Option C Printout. I thought I shouldn't worry about that since I included my average earning a month. Did you guys submitted this too?
