Called the cic an hour ago.. a lady picked up the call and she said my application is going through back ground check. I said I have not received MR yet she said I have to wait till I will be contacted and she does not know how long it will take :-\

Not really. I got MR in Dec 2014, but my background check is still in process.

Good pm fellow May applicant.. My current work permit will expire tomorrow march 2, 2015.. But i received my BOWP 3 days ago.. Question.. Do i have to scan my BOWP and send it to CPC in order for them to update or to let them know that my stay here is legal since i do have a pending application for PR.

Hi guys...firstly, to update my details on the spreadsheet, i got the email from CIC on 25july14 giving my AOR and on their site, it says my application was received on 12June2014 and status is 'in process'. Till date, i have not received any request for Medicals. When i look at the spreadsheet, i am not able to clearly make out if i am unduly delayed. Is the column 'AOR received' indicative of when CIC sent the email (in my case it was 25july14) or when
they accepted for processing, which is 12June14 in my case. Either way, no news yet and hopefully, something will come sooner than later. Any advise on my query is appreciated and also thanks in advance for updating my details on the spreadsheet

HI...I am also awaiting medical request. To clarify, when you say AOR received date, is it the date of the email that you received? In that case, mine is even later than yours and it will at least give me some indication. Thanks

Thanks..i didn't know about GCMS but just checked it out. They say it takes 4-6 weeks for them to provide inputs. All i want to figure out at this stage is if mine is extra ordinarily late or not? Based on the fact that i got my AOR email on 25July, i am assuming there are a number of people who are still awaiting Medical request around my dates. Is this a fair conclusion? Also, are you or any of the VIP members able to update the spread sheet with my details? Thank you

I just received my GCMS notes and it's horrifying! I'm panicking.
1) I applied as Executive Assistant from May 27 2013 to May 28 2014. First VO reviewed said based on date calculation, it appears that i'm not qualify for 1 yr work experience. I have no idea why. Within this year, i took 3 weeks vacation and got paid and no more vacation. Also, my employment letter shows my annual salary is 34k but 2013's T4 shows only 26k because I started working only from May, not the whole year so of course i didnt earn 34k in 2013. And that seems like they are questioning it.
2) I answers "Yes" to "Have you ever been denied admission, or order to leave, Canada or other country" and I gave explanation that because i forgot my I-94 and wasn't able to enter the US. It's also a question to CIC to.

Can you guys suggest what i should do? Is the 1st review always done by a junior officer who goes by the book and if anything is out of line, they pass it to 2nd officer?

Really, I applied with 1 year the same as you!!! But I haven't ask for GCMS , Did you get medical request?

You need to work out how many hours you worked. One years employment is classed as 1,560 hours (30hrs x 52 weeks)

Sammyboy: just checked with payroll, the period i claimed on my app, i worked 54 weeks full time 40 hours/week.

I found what seems like a mistake 1 VO wrote work experience May 27 2013 to APril 28 2014 and said i don't have enough hours...But I claimed may 27 until MAY 28. Unless they deduct 3 weeks i took for vacation in Feb 2014 but i got paid for it. This whole thing is very stressful. If this is a mistake, i'm really concern about CIC's quality of work.

I dont know, I work the full year with out vacations 2050 hours, I got mr in January, we will see let's hope the best!!

Guys I hope we get some news soon, I check and on the FSW clase May applicants and even June 2014 are getting PPFR and PR, I wish on CEC we could have that fast service.

Let's hope for the best, at least CIC ask us for MR and PCC.
