Please confirm where the PCC is to be sent between CPP-O or CIO. I got same request and the email says it should be to sent to CIO. You know individual application is case specific

Hi, send the docs to the address provided in the email. I received the PCC request as well via email and was asked to send the docs to CIO Sydney.. I sent the docs in Nov to CIO Sydney (address from the email) and my file changed to in process abt 10 days after that

I received update from CIC, they are asking about RCMP Criminal Record Check and Today i applied for same.

Anyone have idea, how to send additional documents to CIC. Do we have to attached cover, so that they can get to know this is for our file.

And do we have to send Original copy for Criminal Record Check?

I was under the impression they just want thumb impressions through private agencies and the processing is done electronically. ...I havent got my request yet though. .

Is it a common practice by CIC to request RCMP check from PNP applicants - i know CEC category applicants do that, but i am skeptical of this for PNP applicants? CONFUSED .... can someone help me !!!

I guess its more of on a case to case basis...thats what I have been told by my immigration consultant...

I guess it is a case by case as said. But one thing I know is that if they want a person's biometric capture (eg finger print sample) or there is somebody with similar identity, they could request for RCMP.

It's been 130 days since my AOR and my application has not gone through "In Process" yet.
My WP expires in about 100 days! When you think I should apply for a WP extension?

Did you explore the electronic thumb impression option..I had done some research before my application was submitted and I believe it was the faster option as compared to the hard copy version...private agencies are appointed to make life easier for us ....
