November last year though they were submitted in october itself...

hey all,

I sent my application to CIO some time ago, they asked me for my police certificates at the start of October, there were several issues and delays during this part of the process and I was given until January 21st to submit them.
There has been no word from CIO but my application status changed from Application Received to In Process (We started processing your application on January 15, 2014.)
The fact that is In Process means that they have received the medical checks and everything else they need?

Did you submit the PCC.As far as I know, they change the status to "in process" when they believe they have all the requisite docs to review the application...

I didn't submit it with the application I requested them later when they asked for it since in my case they are issued by a private investigation company. I have not received confirmation that they were received but I had until January 21st.

Looks like they must have recieved it...maybe you can get a confirmation from the private investigation agency as well...

No attached cover needed, my friend was asked to send a new schedule A to explain a gap at her personal history early this month and she just completed a new form and fax it along with the orginal document requesting email to CIO and her application was then got processed the very other day (however, it does take 1 week for her to see the online status changing to processing, but the actual processing date is only 1 day after she faxed her stuff). Hope this helps. It's too common for them to ask for addtional documents so no need to worry too much.
