Hi iKhalid, Did you email them to confirm receipt of the documents. I also sent my PCC from back home (25th received on their reception) and emailed them on the 26th.

No reply has come back. Should I email them again by end of next week for confirmation?

It does not matter. Infact for myself and my family also given address was my lawyer's address. After getting PPR my lawyer only suggested me to give my home address. I did the same and received our passports at home address yesterday. They will only verify your passports and return envelope.

I actually emailed them twice, once to check for PCC docs and the other email was a 3 days ago to check if everything so far is received and got the reply yesterday. In both cases, they replied within 3 days.

Maybe CIC has started Criminality/Security after receiving the additional documents?

I believe so too. Let's say it takes a month once all the docs are received. With everyone else, everything starts in parallel since all the docs are already received. This is the only conclusion that gives me hope .

i am in the same situation as you guys are in. requested GCMS Notes yesterday and last week asked for confirmation whether CIC received my medicals /RPRF/Biodata.
Stony silence from these guys gets on your nerves. trying to be as cool as i can, under this situation.

lets hope we all get this PPR email sooner.

My passport return envelope was activated today at 17 03 pm

All gratitude to Allah first and to everyone in this forum who guided me through this long trip and gave me guidance and patience.. i will Land at Peace Bridge peacefulyl on Monday 3-3-2014 at 5 pm. ;D ;D

Ikhalid.. i wish u all luck.. u will get ur passport request ur eligibility is already passed..

I would likr to thank Iam toby for his site.. anni and Anilgurung and ikhalid for their support..
and too many other brothers..

Last advise.. even if u have worries and not sure about eligibilty .. give a try and apply.. when u apply .. do ur homework and know all details.. do not depend on a lawyer or a consultant... depend on urself.. for them.. u r just a client.. for you.. this application is a life change and a better future for u and ur kids..

I will try to stay around.. but if i could not.. i just want to say good bye for now and Goodluck my friends in your lives and future here in Canada..

Thank.. all these years on low pay because i was on a closed permit and restricterd licence.. and now paid mucg to get a PR.. totally around 8000 dollar .. half to my useless lawyer (4000 dollar) ..
i sent passport directly to Ottawa and sent them back to me although the address on file is the lawyer's one..

So i will stay home instead of going on vacation as i have no money :-X

it's alright since you have PR you can work anywhere you want INSHALLAH
