BTW how do you put those info about your filing status on left column????

I received PER just few minutes ago!!! ;D

Yay, good news comix! :D

Guys the cap has reached, only applications with AEO will be accepted as of now.

My doc has been received by CIC on 17th July as per Fedex.
I have applied with AEO.When I'll get the file number?

Ana, once you are a member (>10 posts), you can click on Profile (upper right) > Forum Profile Information.

Futurecanada, I assume you mean May 17th? Comix and I both got the PER two weeks from the day the office received it. When you get the PER, you get a file number / unique client identifier so you can look up your status in ECAS.

Tomorrow I'll send total doc to CIO with AEO.after how many days I'll get tracking number?

When to submit the application? if the cap was reach..Will be in July?

Is this normal time frame for cap to get reached? If the cap reached in May 2012 then it means it took 10 months to reach the cap (From July 2011 through May2012). is that canada in becoming less preferred destination slowly?
Can anyone know what was the trend previously? does the cap always reach in previous years?
I have a question for my application. if cap is reached then will CIO return my application saying that the cap is reached or they will not reply and i simply have to assume that my application is not selected?

CA_PR, the qualifications have definitely become stricter since 2008, so there should be less applications than before for FSW. The global cap has also been reduced. In previous years it was 20,000 and now it is 10,000. So it's not that Canada is less preferred but it's more difficult. Also, CIO will send you notification no matter if your app is denied or not.

All, I just found there is a much better interface for tracking timelines: http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/federal-skilled-workers

My case is already in there under the same username http://www.trackitt.com/member/alyssum. I think it will be better to use that table then me trying to manually update it in this thread. So add your cases there!

Congratulations for your PER :)

Thanks alyssum, that makes sense. Anyways! whatever be the result I have to wait for some communication from CIO. :)

Got AOR by email from VO on 01.06.2012. ;)
