They approved me as a sponsor in August. You can see my timeline under my name. Yes it was outland.

So I checked the website and it now says that they started working on my husbands app on November 30th. Does this mean anything (good I hope?) The file is in Ottawa

Yes its a good news.Once its gets into In Process the next step will be Decision Made.So keep your fingers cross and you should be receiving good news soon..good luck

I hope I`m writing at the right place. I`m also a May applicant with Bucharest VO but my status is still on "application received" and no news at all from Bucharest VO. I see so many people here got their visas and I started worrying that may be something got wrong with my case. My husband received his sponsorship approval on 30th of July. Do you think is normal that we did not have any more news after this?
Any information will be appreciated please!

Many May applicants are in the same boat. I would check your VO processing time on the CIC website. I am sure there's nothign to worry about.

Hey there all!! I love coming back to such great progress for May applicants!!

Been away for a lil bit due to our move from California! So now WE are back in Canada...I am so thrilled to say that I have established my Canadian residency after 7 yrs!! Pretty painless at the border crossing. I wanted to make sure that we had a list made of all the belongings to follow but the guy didn't really didn't seem to concerned. He basically was just concerned of what the total value was really. The hubby followed about a week after my intial arrival with some of my stuff. He had a little bit of ass pain as i was suppose to be with him when my belongings came into Canada but I guess the lady was nice enough to let him through anyway! Thank goodness! A week later he returned back to the U.S for 3 wks and just returned back a couple days ago with no issues at the border. He told em our story and how he will be waiting up here as his papers process (showed the letter), they gave him a visitors visa good for a year and off he went!

Although we are soooo thankful that we are able to live together as we wait for the papers a COPR would be a fantastic christmas gift!

Hope we hear more good news folks! Oh and I have basically given up on the ECAS. I think its just so pointless...ours has not changed in about 7 months!
