Have not you called to CIC to know about your sponsorship approval since you have reached the given time by CIC? OMG!! 7 month?

No I couldn't call because we don't live in Canada and the call center doesn't take international calls :/

Yea. Got PPR last week...

Thats excellent. Can't help but think ours would be done now had CIC not misplaced some of our documents.

My understanding is Manila is the slowest of all the VO's. Maybe some of the vetrans here can shed more light on that.

Manilla says 11 months... on the other hand, Ottawa took 4 months and we are hoping to get COPR in the next few weeks... CIC website says Ottawa is 12 months.
Fingers crossed for a speedy stage 2!!!

Our COPR arrived in the mail 3 days ago at our US address :) Just found about it today when we phoned my in-laws. We're headed back to California for the holidays and my wife will land in Canada as a PR in the new year.

From reading all the other forums, I guess when ECAS changes to Decision Made, the COPR is already in the mail (at least for Ottawa). Good luck to all the others out there waiting for the next steps. All you guys have helped me ease the pain of this hectic process. Thanks!

What was the time frame from Decision Made to actually getting your COPR in the mail?

hello everyone! Pls does cic visa office have a right to keep someone's original birth certificate after interview? My spouse attended her interview and everything including all our supporting evidence were returned to her except her birth certificate and some school transcripts and pictures. Now her medical will expire in 3 weeks time no visa issue just being told after the interview that they will mail her. Now i am still waiting almost 2 weeks now but nothing is happening. Does that means perhaps she has been refused. Thanks in advance

It's almost 4mos. since sponsor approval till now no PPR!!! what's happening?

So we got the COPR in the mail today! Status changed to Decision Made on Monday December 4th and I got the COPR a week later (Monday December 10th). Going to pick it up this weekend from my parent's house and land Sunday. Yay, I expect others are coming soon as well. :)

COPR received in the mail TODAY.

Uuuugh I want to flagpole this week soooo bad. It's a 3hr drive from where we are but the check engine light in my car is on and I don't wanna risk it... it's not getting fixed until Dec 24th so we wont be able to until the new year. :(
