Hey all...

Let me know what you guys think.... So we will be leaving for Canada in two weeks. I will be re-establishing my residency there, as I am the citizen and my husband is still awaiting his papers (we alll know how speedy CIC is!) My husband will be in Canada for about a week with me then he will be in FL for 4wks. Once he returns, we'll be living up there awaiting his approval. I'm a little unsure as to what we say at the border? Do we give them the list of all our goods to follow at that time? Should we have seperate lists as there is a part for former residents and settlers as we actually won't be coming into Canada at the same time?

Any advice?

I could not log into ECAS using the File number. The only way I could log in was by using the sponsor's UCI. This made me suspicious. I enquired about 8 weeks ago and never heard anything. So, I enquired again and this is what I found out. We had sponsor approval on the 25th July. By rights, I should have COPR by now. Instead, I now have to wait for a few months. :(
That is incredibly frustrating!!! I do hope they locate your application and finish processing it soon. I've sent an enquiry so we'll see if I get a response....I really can't stand all this waiting!

Wish for an interesting week.....

My wife told me on her beijing cic forum, there were two people went from "Decision Made 2" back to "In process" so one of them actually called their vo to find out why is this , and the vo told them they had to review their case again so thats y it went back from "in process". and on eCAS their home address never changed to Canada address maybe thats the case? just wanna share with you guys, that it will go backward on eCAS status :o

You have to just tell the truth and make sure you have all documents proving whatever it is you say...

Just received this from London today. Not sure what to make of it yet.

Dear XXXX,

As you stated that is your wifes UCI number. Your UCI number is XXXX XXXX.

Your file is currently under review with an officer and they will be in touch should they require any further information or any additional documents.

Regards,
CSU (AJM)

At least I finally have a UCI number that works and shows my address and not my wife's

Thanks AnaMaria, I thought it may mean that and made me smile a little but until ECAS shows it is in process I refuse to believe the road might be close to being over. lol :D

not sure if i mentioned this or not but i got my AOR from Mexico City receiving my package on 10/10/2012 :) Wasn't sure if any spreadsheets needed updating :)

Congrats, and hope it is speedy for you.

Bonitanita, I am not 100% sure I am in process yet. ECAS does not tell me that, only what was sent in my E-mail. If ECAS changes I will let you know. I just saw me as in process when I am not sure I am.

ecas is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays.

so, if there is a change it could take some days till you can see it (hope you will soon)

Maybe today!!! cross your fingers!

Emailed CPP Ottawa yesterday, got a response today stating that I am "in process" and nothing is needed of me at this time. :)
