Siddi, congrats! Happy for u! We got the approval yesterday so it seems like more applicants of may 2012 will received their approval..now we have to wait for the 2nd stage hehe!

When I applied I did exactly the same as you. Put down Mississagua as my VO. I went about my application haphazardly and done everything in the wrong order, 1st medical then police check and thought the paperwork would be a doddle. Well with a hard drive crash midway through getting my papers together it set me back even more time.

I find it strange it does not say your medicals have been received but they have had your file at London VO for about 6-7 weeks now? I would have thought they would have checked documents in your file within that time. 6-7 weeks is quite a long time to have the file considering London VO is averaging 84 days to complete stage 2. I honestly would have thought you would have heard something.

Given up worrying about it. It's not in my hands anymore and all I can do is wait. I did my meds in March and have all the paperwork to prove it.

It's ok if it takes some time right now anyway. I can't get a job at the mo even if I could. The boy is away out west in Alberta working and earning good money. But, he has a few bills to straighten out before we can move to BC. I wouldn't be looking for a job until I got to BC and can't go there til at least mid-end Oct anyway after he straightens a few things out.

Every success in life follows struggle. The harder the struggle, the bigger the success in my opinion. After all this, we're all going to feel joy like we've never felt. I can't wait for that feeling.

I sent my application May 7 and CIC received May 10 but becos it was taking so long for them to approve me, i sent them a letter to withdraw my application 2weeks ago but i still got approval Sept 4th and my file transferred to visa office. I just wanna update you guys. my ecas now has medical received and decision made

my file got transfered to accra since july 9th but since then no news from accra ! what does it mean ? good or bad sign ? usually people gets interview request after just 4 or 6 weeks! this wait is killing me

Only a select few get interviews. Hopefully, you don't have to!

Looking at the May spreadsheet, still looks like 4 of the applicants have not even had Sponsor approval yet

Did Kiri and CanadianJeepGuy refile in different months after having their applications returned? Any word on the remaining 2 applicants. Would be nice to see the May spreadsheet 100% complete and everybody on to stage 2.

...yes I have. :\ I'm not a May applicant anymore. I've posted here and the US thread, and the Buffalo thread a lot in the past couple weeks actually - only been gone a couple days.

My entire package was sent back to me thoroughly torn apart. (all envelopes thrown away, labels and keys, paper clipped things to other things that don't belong together, etc) And said I was missing forms and I wasn't... but they made no record of me so I have to reapply as a September applicant this week. That's what's going on with me which I've said before, I guess it was missed? Who knows. Not worried about it too much. I'm sick of this whole process.

So anyway, you can just completely remove me because they aren't even making a note that I'm a May applicant at all. Took them over 100 damn days to open it just to tell me that. I'm irritated by it, but I have been posting so I've been around (my profile shows how active I've still been if curious) As far as CanadianJeepGuy, his file was transferred and he's just missing some docs... I don't remember his application being sent back to him at all - check his profile

Anyway. Good luck to you guys, I'll be 4 months behind you all even though I was an early May applicant. And yes, I'll be around like I have been in the American threads. If anything in my post sounds harsh, apologies. I'm just irritated as hell over this crap because while they say it's a privilege to be in Canada, it's not for me. I'm from America and have freedoms so I'm not coming here to take from citizens. Hell, I have no intention to even work a Canadian job. I have an American one I will keep. I get the same benefits (even medical) in America and my extension lasts until my partner gets out of college so if it comes down to it, we'll just go back to America. I'm not pleased with this system in the slightest. I was treated unfairly and there's not a damn thing I can do about it.

That sucks Kiri. Well if it's any consolation, you're not 4 months behind me. I'm actually end of April applicant still being evaluated for Sponsorship approval. I think CIC is totally incompetent and there should be a way agents are held accountable for their poor work.

Oh Lord... immigration Canada better watch out. It's these sweet types you better keep an eye on... we bottle up our frustrations long enough that we go redneck on the first business that crosses us jk jk Not to mention with us both named Stephanie.... I think it's a trend ;P

ours, still one process..as the agent constantly saying.. still waiting for sponsor approval
