Thanks godgrace, i hope you will also hear a good news very soon by God's grace. i just checked the CIC online update and the only thing they have is application recieved on may 4 and medical recieved. There is no update of any interview or file in process. Thank you and let keep up sharing our time line to support each other cos this immigration thing is one of the worse stress i had to go through. Good Luck...

just saw that my husband's application has just changed to 'in process'. (I was approved as sponsor on May 30th). We applied through Rome (spousal sponsorship). It's a really straightforward case..does anyone know how long till he gets PR??

If his status has gone to "in process" that is a really good sign and good luck to you. As for time scale you should be hearing soon. Congrats

I'm confused.

I can log into cic using my sponsor's info. It still says "application rcvd" and "decision made" (since jul 25th). There's been no change or nothing to say meds rcvd.

I too have a UCI but cannot log in using mine.

Where are you all seeing "in process" and "meds rcvd"?

Like you Bonitanita I can log in using my sponsor's info. Under her name it says decision made, when I click on that it shows me when CIC sent the letter to her house confirming that she had been approved as a sponsor.

Under my name all it says is Application Received if I click on that it says that medical has been received and that they have received my application (when I initially sent in my application)

As for "in process" as far as I know nobody who sent an application in May is as far as "in process". Under principle applicant it will change from application received to "in process". Looking at the London spreadsheet they look like they are somewhere around June 8th from when the VO received the file. So for our VO it looks like us May applicants will be waiting until early October until any of us hear anything regarding "in process" or "decision made"

Some people who have posted in this thread and said they are "in process" are going from when the VO received the file after Sponsor approval, these people probably applied very late February or March as even the people in April are still waiting. We are close on the long road but I doubt there will be much news this month, hopefully early October.

I still have no UCI myself, I believe when the VO starts processing (in processing) your file it will then give the principle applicant a UCI number which they can use to see the status of their application.

On a side note, How did you get your UCI number? I have had no contact whatsoever with my VO.

Well, it's Monday and supposedly they transfered my file today to somebody who is going to look at it. I had a horrible call center agent, it was bizarre. I hope they will look at all our files today who are still waiting!

hello everyone!

I'm a new member, I have read every forum & searched every where to find answers. We submitted our application last May 16, 2012, received an AOR via email last Aug. 15, 2012 indicating both the UCI and application no. It was written there that they r goin to send the approval letter but until now we r still waiting.

I am from Philippines and my husband lives in Toronto, but I am working presently here in Jeddah, KSA. My contract here will end by March next year and we were expecting the application results before the end of my contract. I've read in the CIC page that the processing time for the abu dhabi visa office will be 24 months! It was toooo long! And we were very disappointed.

Will it be ok to go home after my contract and wait for my application in the Philippines? But I'm afraid that my papers will be lost and will cause the delay of my application, but then I was thinking of the processing time in abu dhabi which is really very slow, if that's true. I'm confused. ???

But still after reading this forum and became aware of the updates of those who are also waiting like me, I was relieved. And for those applicants who received their approval and moving on to the 2nd stage, congrats! I'm happy for all of you, and hope that we will be the next to receive.

Welcome to the forum Tsichi15. So just to be clear, the visa processing office you selected for your outland application was NOT Manila? Is that right? If you aren't at Stage 2 yet, I'm wondering if you can change VO office . . . (I'm sure someone will post on that subject)
