wondering about the people we haven't heard from in a while. Should I put them as inactive or wait a while? Or I could PM them. That's a lot of PM's to send though. Unless some of you want to help with PM-ing them?

Total : 48
No Update : 20
AOR Received : 03

Mate I see us waiting until at least next Tuesday. Monday is holiday for Canada and lately Fridays have been pretty much a no-show...

So expect us surpassing 90 days

Well...i was expecting 90 days given trends in march...but i must admit, stings a little less when CIC has got the sequence right

It's funny that people from southern Europe don't know this forum. I am the single Rome entry to the ss

I think it's mostly a language thing! :-) there might be other forums in italian/spanish/greek around here... it's the same trend in the April ss... there is thread for Rome applicants but it doesn't stay on the first page for very long because it's not a very active thread... but given the waiting time in Rome office, there must be quite a few applicants though...
Well - you're even more precious like this - only one from Rome! :-)

I can only hope that because step 1 took so long in the first semester maybe there is less backlog in Rome.

However, knowing Italians and Greeks, it's even more possible that they found the chance to enjoy the sun a bit more :)

Wow just saw London ss. Just two months after approval people get copr

yes - there has been some very fast approvals in London, wish that would be me - I already bought my ticket for the 15th of October, and I'm going with or without PR :-) but - there not much sun where I live currently, so that's OK... but I would stick around a bit longer in Italy or Greece...

Good luck for Rome - hope indeed you will have a fast process. It's also a VO with some very complicated cases ( Albania for example) because they need to do extra verifications for war criminals etc ( there is an extra form for that) - so it increases the average waiting time, but you will probably be done faster...

Fingers crossed for you!

Congratulation to all who got first stage approval and good luck to the rest of the team waiting for their turns.

I log on to ecas and says decision made and medical recieved at the bottom of the page. Then on the top page it says in process so i am very confuse which one is stage 1 and which is stage 2. Thanks in advance

stage 1 is the one showing under "sponsorship application status" - if you click on that one, it says decision made, we have sent you a letter on that date etc - that's sponsorship approval.
Stage 2 is the one showing under "permanent residence application status" - for now, for me it says "application received" and when I click on that, I see that application has been received, and medicals as well. Nothing else for the moment.

If you see in process under "permanent residence application status" it's good news, it means somebody is working on your file. if it's under "sponsorship approval " - then your approval should come soon.

Hope it helps!
Good luck,
Sweden
