I know the feeling, bonitanita. Sigh... Come on CIC! Thrilled for the end of May/early June folks who are receiving good news, but wishing that those patiently waiting who filed before them in April and May will have reason to do happy dances sooner rather than later. I believe we are all barcode applicants too...

Our application was received by cic on May 17... oh how I wish I had sent it just one week later :(

I was just having that conversation with my hubby last night. :(

hey guys don't get so down.....CIC is working a lot faster than they were and many of us were well over 100 days waiting.....so while it seems long and unfair do know that is is a heck of alot better than it was......your aor's are coming....soon....!!!! ;D

Same here. We hustled like mad to get everything together and our application well organized as soon as possible thinking the sooner we filed, the sooner we'd get approval. Sigh... :'(

hi all,

seems i am the only rome applicant from march-april-may...

does anyone have any real world ideas how long will stage 2 take ??? in general people here get visas before the time that shows up on cic website. rome says 12 months for stage 2.

anyone remember anyone here from that got a visa and what was their timeline (average) ?

Actually, there was no significance in the colour other than it helps to keep reading on the same line. I was just separating lines. Anyway, I've changed it now if that suits you all better.

thanks bonitanita

I have good news for you. I looked up Rome and here are the stats. If your case is straightforward, you will be in the 20%. Some get it even faster than that.

Rome: 20% of cases completed within 5 months, 30% in 5 mo., 50% in 7 mo., 70% in 9 mo., 80% in 11 mo.

thanx for the effort and for the info... seems 20% and 30% are both 5 months. weird but nice !!!...

i will say 7 months to be sure. i think my case could not be more straightforward than it is but still !!!... rome may get many many applicants because of the current situation in europe. so application received may 8, approval let's say august 10, +7 months = end of february, mid march 2013...

we'll see... it's still a long long time

What date did u get aor?

App sent May 26
App received May 28th
AOR July 09
VO London.

I see CIC have updated their processing times. Working on applications April 11th with a 91 day waiting time. At least it is faster and fingers crossed for mid April and early May applicants :D

Guys,
What does it mean by "Decision Made" under sponsorhip application status on ecas? :'(
