Hi can some one help me?

The ecas shows “Medical results have been received” Did you have this too?

Yes. I always had that "medical results have been received" since my husbands papers went to Manila Visa office.
Till now nothing changed and his medical was expired lastweek. :(

Thanks everyone!! :)

Checked ECAS today- in Process it feels good to have something change. Hopefully COPR soon.

Could someone tell me what does SSA immigration section does? Thanks in advance

Why some people get PPR and some people don't? I'm from visa exempt country but I got PPR. Just wondering....:(

Were you asked to send copies of your passport or asked to send your passport?

My understanding is that everyone gets a PPR. However, visa exempt citizens are only asked to send copies of their passport (from which information they create the COPR) while visa required citizens have to send the passport in (where they stamp the Visa).

No, visa exempt countries don't get PPR. They have the information you originally sent with your application which includes your passport copy. However, it's not completely strange for someone from a visa exempt country get ppr. I've seen it happen before. It's a good thing. That means they're working on your application and I wouldn't worry about it.

I was looking at the spreasheet for Ottawa (most applicants are US citizens and therefore visa exempt) and most list a PPR date. Why would that be?

They want a copy of the photo page which I sent with my application.......... I'm happy that I know now FINALLY they are woking on mine but We've been waiting for more than 8 months and still have to wait a few more weeks especially some people just get COPR without PPR:( :( :(

Oh well, we just need to deal with this anyway.

Yes, that is awesome. As per the info on the spreadsheets, it seems that they issued 11 COPR's in December and only 2 in January for cases in Ottawa, ugh, talk about SLOWING DOWN, must be all that holiday food!

So I'm starting to freak out a bit........ January 15th my husband was sent a request for his passport copy and a new medical. We mailed it promptly a week later. At that time I kept checking the status update as it still said "Application received" which has been the same for 8 months. Now for the last few days, it doesn't even let me in............ My UCI, my file number, my receipt.... nothing works!!! Not sure what is going on. Could this be bad news?? And who do I contact to ease my fears?
