Just looking at the spreadsheet. I received my sponsorship approval october 9th 2012. Is anyone still updating the spreadsheet?

How did besykobut get their sponsorship denied?
They were already in their relationship when they entered Canada. Then he or she went home to the Philippines to marry their significant other. The sponsorship was denied because for whatever reason it was seen that he didn't declare his significant other when entering Canada even though they were not yet married. He/she then withdrew their application to get a Lawyer's help and start again.

Yes as I recall someone mentioned it was a rarely enforced intrepretation in that "the current PR holder" of the relationship originally landed on the coattails of Mom or Dad, stated they were 'single' but were in fact "common-law" already . . . to the best of my recollection. If that decision is upheld upon appeal, the 'applicant' can never be sponsored via the Family Class - EVER.

That May and onward SS is for Manila VO specific. Will you remove your line from there. Sorry if I made you confused. I know that Canadian Jeep Guy is applying through Manila and so I mentioned it to him.

Done... thank you :)

Bonitanita still updates the SS. Just that it's been quiet so I guess she is not logging in as often as she used to be. Send her a PM for update.

The May spreadsheet is so behind what is actually happening. There are a few people with in process, DM's, visa issued and even those who have landed. It is about 4-6 weeks old.

I made a post a while back about the current validity of such spreadsheets and I was "assured" they are correct. (even though they are not)

So, to sum it up, as a general note, I think everyone should be following their respective VO spreadsheet for stage 2.....it means more anyway. Do I really care how fast or slow other VO are going, not really...(I mean, I wish everyone speedy processing, but for analytical purposes).

In the end it screws up the averages and processing analysis to try to outline a trend anyway, so use your VO sheets.

Cheers!

Can bonitanita unlock the spreadsheet??

I have updated the spreadsheet as advised whenever I have received a private message. I check my gmail daily and update accordingly. It CLEARLY says on the spreadsheet to PM me if you want something updated.

Many people will not comply with that, you should open the sheet to public.

The sheet is useless if there is no compliance

Hahahaha.

Where did you come from?

Just so you know, almost all of the updates done up until now have been so through receiving private messages. Many people have been completely okay with sending one since it takes all of a few seconds.

Several threads have spreadsheets that are open for anyone to update. One of the problems with that is that people have different ideas on how they like to organize the spreadsheet and they constantly get changed around to the point where it can become extremely confusing and therefore useless.

I have spent a lot of time and effort to maintain this sheet so that it remains consistent and so that people who use this forum can comprehend it easily.

Unfortunately, I have a life and can't filter through every single conversation on this thread in order to find out when things happen. I don't think it's too much to ask for a PM to update. Really, are people THAT lazy? I hope not.

Our London sheet is open and sometimes it can be a complete disaster, theres been many occasions it has had to be restored as people have messed around too much with it.

It really is the decision of the people who applied in May what should happen with the spreadsheet, and I for one am happy with Bonitanita staying in charge of it if she still wishes to :)

Thanks. Yeah, it's a huge problem when people have different ideas on maintenance. I can NEVER understand the London spreadsheet. It seems to be constantly changing and therefore a pain in the butt to figure things out. How are things going for you Johare?

By the way, an update: I've got the local MP on our case and they called today asking for some details. They're going to try to do something to help us. :)

Yeah its forever getting messed up! Some parts have an order and some parts don't, a little like CIC I suppose!

I have no idea what is happening with mines. Got a reply on October 26th (exactly a month now!) after sending a case inquiry (mainly after hearing about your story!!) telling me that "Your file is currently under review with an immigration officer and they will be in contact should they require any further information or have any updates." But since then my ECAS hasn't changed from Application received and I haven't heard anything at all. So I'm not sure where I stand, I thought that meant I was in process but beginning to think I was wrong. I'm just grateful to know it is in London but other than that I know very little.

We are going home to Scotland on the 12th December and I had really hoped to flagpole before then but looks like I will be Landing in January when we return. If I'm lucky by the looks of things... ::)

Good luck!

We're struggling to make an plans. We're here in Canada but afraid to leave incase I have trouble coming back in. We really wanted to go south for xmas and get some sun but the stress of it all makes it too hard to relax. Was thinking of going to London instead for a few weeks but my mother is going to be away in Barbados and it seems pointless travelling home for a visit if she is not going to be there.

Hoping for some good news from the MP this week!

Enjoy your trip!
