I have a quick question regarding LMO from HRDSC. I did quite a bit of research on the internet but wasn't able to find any proper information. When a LMO is approved by HRDSC, for my information I have heard 3 years is the maximum for a foreign worker.

Is it correct? What if the foreign worker applies for another LMO after his previous 3 year LMO, is it still considered? Or 3 yrs is the max that is ever given to a foreign worker of any kind.

The proposal is that as of April/11 that most Temporary Foreign Workers will be given a maximum of 3 years in Canada. There is to be a one year gap between work permits.

so that means if I apply for a LMO after the one year gap from the initial 3 yrs of LMO work permit, I can again get an LMO?
