This is one of my many posts I have done here. This post is because I am not really getting a clear answer anywhere pertaining to this.

I have a 3 year Bcom so I cant really do a masters in Canada directly. My counselor says after I do my 1 year Diploma I can do a masters. Is this true? Any info about this would be very helpfull

Haven't heard that case but in your case you can try: (sorry the forum prevent me to post link)
hxxp://www1.uwindsor.ca/professional/admission-requirements
Applicants with a 4-year bachelor degree in other non-CS disciplines will be eligible for admission if they are accepted into and complete the University of Windsor’s one-year BCS for University Graduates program with a 70% average or better.
hxxp://www1.uwindsor.ca/cs/835/bcs-general-for-university-graduates
This above page states:
A 3-year General or a 4-year Honours Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University .
Ontario Grade 12 “U” Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus and Geometry and Discrete Mathematics or equivalent courses.
Students lacking Grade 12 "U" Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus, Geometry and Discrete Mathematics or equivalent courses will require 16 months to complete all the requirements for the degree.

I don't know any other unis in Canada provide a diploma as prerequisite for MSc. If you found one, please share your information.
