I'm 34 yrs / single. I did my chemical engineering in 2002 from India. I'm working in Oil/Gas sector since then on various positions in India and middle east.
I had applied for canada immigration in 2008. But my file was closed at London office after 1 1/2yr because my consultant opened my file in generalized category instead of specialized category (petroleum engineer's category).
I'm thinking of applying for my master's in Petroleum Eng./Chem. Eng. from canadian university or Petroleum Eng. Technology diploma course (2 yrs) from SAIT. What are the chances of getting admitted and/or getting student visa after such a long gap from studies and having immigration rejection case? I have a property on my name in india to show the ties to my home country, and sufficient bank balance.
