Hi guys,

For those of you who received fingerprints requests recently, did you get the request before or after IP?

I am a May applicant and will like to pay my Landing fee without request just to get it out of the way.

Please can anyone tell me how they went about doing this.

I received fingerprints request and I am not yet IP.

What I am doing is getting them mailed to myself first. That way I can have a copy of it and more control over it. I don;t want to risk it on RCMP if they fail to post it for some reason.
Secondly, When you post it you might track it and in case its not received you may send again.

Personally I would also send them in email before posting it .

I totally agree with Aman. We just got it done yesterday and asked them to mail it to my house. In addition, it may not necessarily a faster way by letting RCMP sending your report to CPC office even if they both in Ottawa.

I received their request two days ago. I'm March 17 Applicant and not IP yet. I believe it would be the final step before getting into IP.

Thanks for your reply. I submitted fingerprints for me and my wife with the application. We got IP without them requesting for fingerprints again.

Hope March and april applicants get their PR soon...too much wait already ....And i hope they stop requesting too much documents, one after another

Hi Guys,

My file received on April 24 and yesterday i got request for RCMP fingerprints.

My concern is i already sent them RCMP clearance with the application back in April 2014.
Is this anything different from RCMP clearance we send with the application?

I am April 23rd applicant and got request for RCMP clearance on January 28. I have last name on passport but no first name. I sent RCMP fingerprints check already in June last year but have been requested again.

Yes. That's the only request so far and this is the request CIC has asked again to submit even though I submitted already in June 2014.

I guess you meant fingerprints.....

The ways and means of CIC are mysterious for me. They seems to almost stop in September and nowadays appear to be running fast...... Counting from Submission: I think between 9.5 months ( very lucky ones) and a long time for the unlucky. The majority will be around 12 months.
