Hi, is the process faster if you pay RPPF upfront? please share

I don't think RPRF impacts IP at all, when the CIC is processing your application, they will ask outstanding documents or fees. RPRF is a part of this process. So basically, the procedure is CIC beginning take your application IP and then asked your RPRF. So the you payed your RPRF at beginning will not take you application into front.

True. I paid my RPRF sometime in October 2014 (CIC didn't ask for RPRF) and I still don't have IP.

Paying at the beginning won't move your application to the front but it will eliminate one step close to the end of the process so the whole process will be a little faster. Not sure how much faster but judging by how long it seems most people to get from the RPRF request to them asking for passports, I think it could save a couple of months. By paying the RPRF at the beginning you should move right from the medicals being received to the request for passport. Of course they still have all their checks to do in between and that won't go any faster.

Good stuff! I hope DM follows soon for you. Does it mean they completely forgot about us April 2014 applicants? lol.. Oh well, it's CIC and they are very unpredictable.
