Can someone kindly update my progress on the Excel sheet?

Hi. I applied for citizenship for my parents end of March and received AOR on April 17. It was Online application. Their status checker account shows cic sent a letter or email on May 18, 2023 for additional information. I'm not able to find any letter or received any email.

Can someone please help me if there is a way to find this letter in their online account ? Thanks !

A quick question.

I have a Paper Application (3 Members), below are my timelines. This morning when I checked the "ECAS" it has an new update stating that "We started processing your application on May 29, 2023". However, when I see the Citizenship Application Tracker I do not see any updates, it still has the same date as May 5th, 2023 (when I was able to access/login to the tracker).

Q1. Does it usually takes time for the details/status to flow from ECAS to the Citizenship Application Tracker?
Q2. Also, could this be a "Ghost Update" (in the ECAS)?

If I’m correct based on what I see with other paper applicants, Ecas updates before Gckey, so you can expect a GU in gckey within 2 days. Mayb its for test invite. Keep us posted. My AOR was May 5th, so I’ll check my ecas tomm n onwards.

Just checked my Citizenship Tracker (GCKEY) and it does shows one "new update" but nothing got updated. Looks like the "Ghost Update" did happen.

I will keep you posted once I receive the test invite or any other updates.

Had a chat with IRCC call centre. I now know that my application is assigned to Scarborough as primary office. Guess I’m gonna be waiting for a while before I hear about prohibitions and physical presence. I’ve already cleared BGC.

I was advised to request via web form, as soon as PP is cleared, to let them know I want the in person oath ceremony. Not before, but also not after I get scheduled for oath.

That was actually good to know as that is what I want.

I want the ceremonial experience. There are friends here and overseas who want to attend.

Other advantage is the citizenship certificate being available immediately.

It's a bit concerning now that I see most have already received their test invite/completed test, but I see a lot of people are in the same boat. It really is random.

Did you get your test invite from another office? Just wondering they changed it after test/ BG check to another office.
