So I emailed the citizenship ceremony mailbox: IRCC.DNSCRCitizenshipCeremony-CeremonieCitoyenneteSCRRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
I got a reply within an hour saying that I have been 'rescheduled' for the ceremony on the 6th of April at 11AM and that I will receive a notice to appear 1 week prior to this date.

Is this legit? The status on my tracker still says 'not started' against the Citizenship ceremony..
Not legit lol. IRCC official gives you the information you requested and you're asking random strangers if it's real or not? Wait for your email and don't worry about the tracker. They don't always update it.

Mine is SCR too. Test completed on 1st Dec 2022.
Also sent that email to the ceremony mailbox, got a response saying application in progress and sent to appropriate unit for review. Wonder what that means.
Basically timelines are a hit or miss. Feels like a raffle draw on when your application will be picked up and processed.
I think that means your LLP is being reviewed by the IRCC department that is in charge. It might take them some time to review the physical presence especially.

gave my exam in Nov, still waiting for oath but my PR is about to expire in May, shall I apply for PR extension?
Your PR doesn't expire. The pr card like the passport has an expiry date, but just like citizenship doesn't expire the pr doesn't too

If your PR expires I understood that you can have issues when you travel. Will airlines and CBSA allow you to transit the border with an expired PR card?

You can come in with an expired PR card. But you may need a PRTD if you're not from a visa exempt country

Hello,
I am new to this forum. My timeline is:

Processing office: Niagara
Application sent: March 22
AOR:April 14
BG check competed: Oct 27
Test invite: Feb 17-Mrach 9

I've a question. Do we have to book the time slot for the test or can we take the test anytime on any day between these dates including weekends?

Second ques, is there any online app or website you'd suggest to practice test questions? Any paid or free apps?

Thank you
