BIL received yesterday. But I thought it wasn't necessary because I'd already given my biometrics five years ago for visitor visa. Should I give biometrics again? Or try to notify them?

Did anyone get any updates? I was hoping to see some updates in my portal but no luck..its going to be exactly 2 months tomorrow since my AOR and no updates..pretty sure my medicals will be expiring by the time they process the application.
