I think it doesn’t matter how many kids you have. I think it takes longer, if you claimed points for your spouse, like work experience. It takes longer to proof that for IRRC.
Thank you for your reply. I have a friend who’s friend have applied for CEC inland last February 2021 and got approved on this month, one week ago. It was pretty fast! They don’t ask them to do biometric, they haven’t done even before. They’re lucky!

No movement since then... Anyone else in the same situation
Quick update... my medical and biometric got updated on 22nd March and I received a request from ircc for RCMP verification for my spouse and not for me... Strange part is the place where I have to upload the document is from my document section and not my spouse's... Anyone else in the same situation...

I have a question, I haven't had biometric before but I paid it now in my application. Should I receive the Biometric Instruction Letter after 24 hours of submission or is it postponed because of covid? I am currently in Canada under PGWP, but they said that some biometric are cancelled due to pandemic. Also, how can I do the GCMS notes? Thank you everyone and good luck with our application!
Update:
My AOR is March 21, 2021 (not March 18)
Medical Passed
BIL for me and spouse submitted today (March 31, 2021) my husband had biometric from 2018, but they requested again. We called ircc and said it’s okay to repeat.

MARCH 19TH - AOR
MARCH 31ST - MEDICALS PASSED
MARCH 31ST - BIO-METRICS EXEMPTED
Hi! Just a question, you were exempted to do a bio because you've previously done it before i.e., tourist/student visa? Asking this because I did mine last year. Thanks!

My questions is, that I didn’t get RCMP finger Prints letter, if I was supposed to get it, should I have gotten it by know or it means I don’t need it. My second question is that what will be the next step in the process by immigration and I can’t see any status bar on my Account not sure why??
@legalfalcon. Please reply if you can thanks.
