If they have asked for passport that means your visa is approved and maybe they haven’t updated your account yet. Did you try using online tool?

Submitted the passports to ircc as per email. The passport request wasn't reflected on the gckey online tool as well.

No, I also got pre-arrival services a month ago and then they asked for additional documents. No DM yet. I think pre-arrival services was generated as part of the process but the DM wont come until they decide you are approved as PR.

I got very excited too and thought DM/PPR would come right after...very close but not there yet.

In our case, the next email was from ircc asking for passport submission which we did right after. No gckey update though. Updates only when what i posted.

This is so frustrating not updating anything but give them a call that’s the only option I believe

The next time your gckey will change the final decision to approved and with the counter foil number is after your COPR has been generated and your passport has been stamped with the visa. Till then you will seen in process in BGC.

Hi. If someone wants to take Gckey login information from their lawyer, do they need to fill “cancel representative form” as well?

Yes, just be advised that your lawyer might not want to help you out too much after you do that. But if you want control of your correspondence with IRCC and you don't think that your lawyer will be a big help going forward then do it.
