My timeline is as follows:

AOR : March 2, 2020
Re-medical request: Nov 21, 2021
Re-medical passed: Dec 5, 2021
RFV mail: Jan 6, 2022
Visa & CoPR received: Jan 26, 2022

Though I have not been too active here, this forum has helped me during my really long waiting time.
I hope my updated timeline helps someone else in their waiting period.
I appreciate the people who have taken time to respond to queries and helped others.
What is your COR ?

@legalfalcon any updates from NDVO? Haven’t seen any PPRs. My AOR is March 2020, passed remeds on April 6, 2022. No ADR request. Haven’t even got the GCMS notes applied on Nov 02, 2021. Don’t know what to do, running out of patience now.

See the latest article published in TheStar https://www.thestar.com/amp/opinion/contributors/2022/04/10/the-treatment-of-newcomers-under-canadas-immigration-system-is-frankly-appalling.html?fbclid=IwAR0oHtKcQ9AxjZHYBa7ENivXNYJSLCKmkR9VqkMEM0ob56wRhN3NvxFTOU4

It hints at resetting the system.

Finally RFV email came.

AOR March 5, 2020
FSW outland

We requested GCMS in Feb 2022 and found they need proof of fund, due to lack of information in currency. Then we submitted a bank statement.

Remed request March 5,2022
Medical passed March 23, 2022
Ghost update April 11, 2022
RFV April 14 2022

COR Australia (Singapore when applied)

The RFV letter only gives us 30 days to submit passport. But we have a plan to visit New Zealand on May 11 and will be back on May 18th. It’s Easter holiday now and if I submit passport to VAC on April 19, I will probably not get passport back for the trip. In this case, should I contact Ircc saying I will submit passport later and specify the date?
Cheers

@legalfalcon I have just received RFV.
In order to save the time for them to issue me a stamp on my passport, can I just travel to Canada and tell IRCC that I am physically in Canada right now? I still have Canadian vistor visa that allows me to enter Canada. Then I can do the virtual landing.

Is this possible and legit?

You can. Only that it takes 1-8 weeks for IRCC to respond and another few weeks to get things processed.

Hi @legalfalcon , thank you for the information. Reached out to VAC in Sydney Australia today after the Easter Holiday. They are quite confident in issuing the stamp within 2 weeks, and also mentioned it’s not hard to borrow (They used this word, but I found its ridiculous) the passport. So just sent the passport today.
