App sent: March29,2019
App received: April01,2019
In process: July03,2019
Fingerprint request: July31,2019
No response after that

anyone knows why is it taking so long?
Its processing at Scarborough office.

Here's Mine:
App sent: Feb 28,2019
App received: March 04,2019
In process: July 04,2019

Same Office, still no invite. I have friends who applied after me who have gotten their test and their oath, as well as individuals from other offices whose applications are being processed in Scarborough, those individuals have gotten their test invites. I have called the call centre to see if I missed something I'm told no I just need to wait until March 04, 2020 and If I hear nothing by Mid March I should call back.

Hi
Could anyone give the contact # , option to dial to the agent and best time to avoid long wait time to check my citizenship application status

Application Sent : March 6th 2019
AOR Date : May 14th 2019
App In Process : June 17th 2019
Location : Mississauga

I know it takes a long time (12 month) in Mississauga/Brampton region but I saw many applications applying before me in the same region and got their test date end of January. Just want to reconfirm from IRCC office in case i've missed out on the correspondence email from them, didnt find any email yet from them.

Also does the 12 month process time also includes from Application Sent date or from AOR Date?

Thanks in Advance
HI
Yes I had been dialing from Brampton at 7 in the morning(8AM at NS) and always connected with agent within 5-10 minutes at least on 7 times from May 2019 to 4th Feb 2020. You can also try. Best of luck.

I received the invite for the oath.
Usually, I believe others receive an invite for a test, and later on they receive the invite for the oath.

Anybody else received a message similar to this one ?

I'm not sure when I'm supposed to take the test.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on
March 19, 2019.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and
a study book called Discover Canada on May 16, 2019.

3. We started processing your application on July 15, 2019.

4. We sent you a notice on February 7, 2020 to appear and take the oath of
citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on March 13, 2020 at 8:00 AM.
The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your
appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your
scheduled appointment, please contact us.

I think you will have the test and oath same day if you pass the test. I have seen in Apr 2019 something similar. Once you get the letter i guess you will have 2 notices one for oath one for test.

Its a good thing, you will get oath same day if you pass test/interview. One of lucky few, congrats

If you still unsure, call the helpline and confirm with the agent

I'm 35 years old, so it's not applicable to me.
So I am sure it s mistake by officer who is responsible for your case .
It shouldn't send oath ceremony before test ! How they know you will pass the test or not and never heard that !
Again you can call cic on monday to find out more .
I am guessing probably wrong email they sent you only they made mistake on printed name of you

Hello,

Does anyone know what all documents do we need to carry for the citizenship test?
I don't recall what all documents I had submitted along with the application and the notice generally says "originals for your supporting documents".
Few things which I have taken:
- All Passports
- COPR, PR card, SIN
- Drivers license (Canadian) & Health card
- English test proof (IELTS)

Anything else which I might be missing? Does any of the following need to be carried (as there were sections filled related to these):
- AOR (Tax returns)
- Bank statements for supporting funds
- Canadian employment history proof
- Canadian address (stay) history proof

Thanks in advance.
