Now I don't know what's going on!
I checked my status online today and it states "application received". Nothing else.
The "home address" is as stated in my application, but my mailing is my previous address. Did they send my AOR to my old address?
One weird thing: my spouse application was included in the package but no update on her status online.
I'm confused right now.

Congrats you got one AOR. You are in a better situation than others
Physical AOR letter has no importance in terms of next steps, interview, being a Canadian.

You can always call the helpline and fix that address (or even in eCAS). Regarding your spouse it could be a return or an AOR as well (but just not updated into system yet due to long weekend)

Check again on Tue/Wed and call helpline on Thu to check on her app.
In the meantime congrats and make best of the long weekend

Hi guys,

I got my application returned back today due to IELTS academic:

Can i resend the exact same application (same signed application) with updated language proof?
Or do i have to fill in all the forms again?
Please advise.
And also i did a certificate here as hospital unit clerk, can that be accepted as english proof?

Hi there,
Yes u can use any certificate you have gained in Canada as proof of English.
You can add that certificate and resend ur same application if they returned your application only because of academic ielts.

My application packages have been sent back due to
1) Need details for Passport gap explanation
2) Need birth certificate for my sons.


They said that "The date of signature on the original application will still be used for physical presence calculations".
I have questions:
1) Can I used my old package ( photos, signature) with extra papers they are asking for? That means no new photo with current date?

2) For latest version of minor application: I checked NO for question 4(b) Is the child legally adopted?
Was it wrong? What have you done in your case?

Did you send the same pictures? Bcoz they attached the picture in the first page? That means I did not need to print anything except the documents they need from me.

In response to 1) Yes you can use everything in the original docket just write a declaration stating that you have made adjustments in your application as directed be IRCC officials. State the things you would be updating.
