why test invitation took so long ? anyone got it recently for test invitation ?

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 14, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on July 29, 2019

what will be the next steps? waiting for FP request and test date invitation via email? Thanks!

Passed my Citizenship Test today at Calgary. Officer said she is not sure when will they call me for Oath, but asked me to keep checking my email.

Congrats! Was the test easy? Mine is on Sep 5th in Calgary too! i’m just worried about history dates! The book has so many dates and I can’t memorize them all

I got my status update on ECAS regarding "FP" first and then i got my "Test" email after that, but i receive my official "FP" request email after the Test invitation email. I know its bit confusing, i hope u got it what i mean to write haha

I passed the test today!! No fingerprints requested so far and they didn’t mention it today in the interview either. They only said wait for an email with the invitation for the Oath Ceremony!

My status changed to "Decision Made" today August 22. Please update.

The only thing I am worried about is though my wife's and my status shows Decision Made, our childrens' still show In Progress. Just wondering if I should worry about that. When we had the interview after the test I was going to ask the officer if he needs to see any documents for the children but completely forgot about it.

It's going to stay like that for your kids until Oath ceremony.

Thanks, I was suspecting this may be just because for children the process is simpler. Just hoping they didn't 'overlook' them.

All my fellows who are asking me abt the Test preparation, i advise you to read the book few times and do some online tests available, believe me u should be okay, don’t overstressed believe me
Im extremely sorry i can’t answer to the very specific question that one of u asked me abt the Test prep because the invigilators requested us to not discuss the Test on the social media sites, and i still hope you could read between the lines what i have written above. Goodluck and Best Wishes

How's the total test and interview gonna look like? Is it a test on paper or computer? And are they gonna interview you actually? What documentation we should carry with us. Mine is coming up in less than 3 weeks
