I'm wondering if anyone has is in the same boat. Any idea what could they have asked for ?????

Is there any idea about why sometimes fingers print is requested?

If your name matches with someone with criminal background , they do FP to confirm identity.

It is most likely finger printing.. I'm in same boat.. they sent me a correspondence on 12 June.. not received anything yet.

Do they need fingerprints from country of origin or a criminal check here in canada? Because i’ve already submitted one from my country and it took 4 months to get it before applying!!!

It's already been 18 days and you haven't received anything yet. If they sent by mail you should have received it. I'll update when I got mine.

Why would it be country of origin!!!

I'm quite sure they want FP here..

I am already in the spreadsheet and my application was received March 11th, 2019, but online my application hasn't switch to "in process". It seems like others who have applied after me are in process. Anyone else in the same boat? Probably worrying for no reason lol
