I
We have submit our passport with PPR letter and two photos to Beijing VFS today. The stuff said the estimated processing time for visa is about one month.

Anyone who got the PPR, and then get rejected from immigration? Still feel a little upset..
Don't think that's possible. You do not get rejected after PPR. Only if you fail to do a soft landing before the expiry of your medicals, or if you do not spend atleast 730 days in the next 5 years in Canada, would you have issues. Right now, I dont see a reason to worry.

when is a good time to order GCMS notes? it's been 4 months and i'm still in MEP.
4 months definitely doesn't sound good to be stuck in MEP. Maximum timeline to get MEP clearance along with the trigger to get bio-metrics is not more than 40-50 days !!

You should proceed to order GCMS notes right now without fail. The notes will also easily take 20-25 calendar days to arrive.

All the best !

Nothing to worry!! I am also stuck at MEP and IP1 with 4 months from AOR. I got GCMS Notes R10 okay and visa office is Montreal. I think it's totally depends on luck.[/QUOTE]

so the notes will tell you about background check, eligibility check and security check along with which office the application is at? I called them a month ago they told me the application is still not assigned to any office.

Looks like IP2! Was it ‘We are processing your background check’ from the beginning or did it move to ‘Your application is in Progress’ and then to ‘We are processing your background check‘.

My AOR is April 2019! My Biometrics date is the same as yours and I’m applying from Australia as well!

I assume it is IP1 only since day one as thats what happening with all the applications in 2019.

I see! Apparently if it’s ‘We are processing your background check‘ from the beginning it’s False IP2 and ‘your application is in progress’ is IP1 and moving from that to ‘We are processing your background check‘ is real IP2 but yeah as you said some people don’t see any updates and still get their PPR! The status has no relevance at present!
