No, I think that's yours. They just take your PR Card if I recall correctly, since you can't hold a PR Card and citizenship at the same time.

Hi, My husband, sister-in-law and I applied as a Family of 3.

We just received an email for test invite today Dec 10, 2018. Our Citizenship test will be on January 09, 2019.

Yes, they can ask for fingerprints at any time or if the previous fingerprints they have on file are more than 6 months old.

keep in mind that this thread is full of people who didn't even get a test invite, so there is always a person who has it better and who has it worse than you.

true. it is very frustrating. i felt that way too. i saw from the tracker that APRIL applicants from Vancouver getting their invites and test dates in December. I am also from Lower Mainland near Vancouver. I just got my invite yesterday and test will be in January. But we really can not do anything but wait. As long as we are still within the 12 month period (processing time)... I am praying everyone else will get their invites soon.

Location is extremely important while assessing the time lines. I would suggest to my fellow applicants to always mention their location as it gives clear idea to other fellows from the same region. As per my analysis different regional offices have different processing time. I noticed Calgary is very fast as quite a few March Applicant are done with their tests in October. I belong to Mississauga, my Application is received on March 20, AOR is April 9 and In-Process since June 18 but still waiting for test invitation. It seems that Mississauga is one of the slowest regions. This is frustrating but we have no option other than to wait. I wish best of luck to all applicants.
