Question number 10 and 11 in the application form, do we have to fill the exact date, month and year or just fill the month and year only ?

Question number 9 C, can we say NO, if we are not crown servants ?
Kindly advice...
Only month and year sufficient.

My mailing address is same as home address which I had mentioned in the application. For me and my son e-cas shows only home address- no seperate mailing address. But for my wife, a mailing address is also shown, which was the Indian mailing address in our PR application (and this is the agency's address since we had applied through agency and communications were sent to them at that time). My wife was the principal applicant for PR and I guess that is why it is like this only for her.

I saw there are two options to change it- online and through web form. When I tried to change it online there is a form where I can submit the changes for both home address and mailing address. But when I change the mailing address alone and submit, it fails and shows error- for not filling the "new" home address. I have not filled new home address since there is no change in home address.
  1. Did any one have similar situation of showing the old mailing address wrongly?
  2. How did you change it? Through "online" or "web form" ? (if it is online option, I guess you may have to fill a new home address again, even if there is no change in that, Rt?)
I dont want to meddle with the home address etc. unnecessarily. That's why I'm trying to find out the safest method.

Thanks!

Dear citizenship applicants, I am creating this thread to gather all the citizenship applicants who are planning to send their application in the month of March-2018. Please share your experience for citizenship application and provide guidance.

Any feedback in this regard would be highly appreciated.
My application package was sent on Mar 17 and delivered on Mar 20. I haven't heard anything from cic yet.

Question 9C , Should we mark YES or NO. I was not a crown servant . Kindly advice... please ?
Did you live outside Canada during your eligibility period for whatever reason? Study, work, your home country, etc. then you should respond yes. Many have felt that this question is poorly worded. Anyways, for your situation, if you lived outside Canada during your eligibility period, please answer yes. If yes then explain it in a letter with your application that you were not crown servant and just responded yes to mention the fact that you lived outside Canada. Also if you responded yes then it is advisable to attach form CIT 0177, you might want to write N.A. on most fields in that form, put your name, date and signature. Good Luck.
