If Not Started is indicated here, it usually means that Eligibility passed an initial check by CIC-M but still needs to be checked by the lead officer at the overseas visa office. If Review required or needed, this signals the VO overseas to check things more thoroughly - an interview may be required at which time when it is assigned (to someone other than the lead officer) it will say "Recommend Interview" or "Interview Required". If everything is OK, the lead officer at the overseas VO,will indicate "Recommend Pass". It is then passed back to CIC-M for a final check before being changed to "Pass".

Sometimes they waive off interview ...one of our friends told us ... they received letter from cic stating interview required... however they skipped it. Wish you All the best...

I am too my wife's app just got transferred to London VO 26th of September, anyone know how long will it take from transfer to BGC to DM, PPR for LVO. Medicals done upfront and it shows it's passed. We are march 23rd applicants

im 22nd march 2017 applicant.. my file also transferred on 26th September 2017 and processing started on 13th October 2017 on ECAS

You have to log into ECAS using your UCI, and some other information. Then it will generally just tell you the date on which the application was received, and if they've started processing it.

Got PPR on Friday night. Sorry for the late update we were scrambling to get the photos and convince somebody to mail our docs with a return envelope. Finally Fedex figured out a way.

When was your DM? Or was it a direct PPR without your Ecas ever showing DM?

LVO started BGC on 27th Sep. No sign of DM or PPR. Have recently noticed LVO sending PPR's directly without updating Ecas.

I received PPR today at 2:00 PM. I sent an email to the Ottawa VO inquiring about PPR because I have had a "Decision Made" in ECAS since September 1, 2017. Two hours after sending the email, I received the PPR via email.

On ecas it says medical results have been received.

My application was received on march 20 and my account has the exact same messages as yours. My back ground check has been in process for 3 months now and still no news. Did u submit medical/pc upfront ?

Yes we have submitted Pcc and medical along with the application ...our application didn't get link yet my status is still the same no news yet..... waiting for updates anxious
