Please note it is completely different when you have a legal rep. Not the same thing.

I read it and it is general of its new procedures, I do not know how the process is inside Canada, so I do not know! My application is outside and this helped me, for example this says: (Note: Visa offices will not be involved in assessing medical results or following up on outstanding documentation — these tasks will be completed by the in-Canada office. In most cases, the visa office should be able to complete its review as soon as it receives a request to do so, given that all of the necessary information should already be in GCMS when the request for examination is initiated.) I believed that this was done by the VO so I do not really know

U can call and listen to the automated update on your application which is a replica of the GC key status!

Just got an generic email saying NDVO received the file, need to submit landing fees and PCC.( already submitted as part of the package), so its just wait time as u said. and my file is from march 2nd

Not entirely correct. You can use ecas but cannot link the account. You do not need to link the account. I still got all requests through email and see AORs, when docs are requested, when medicals are received, etc, through ecas - but I won't see changes like "BGC in process".

When did you apply/When did CPC mississauga got the application?
My wifes application I sent it in on MArch 1st 2017, and received on March 2nd 2017 but her file just got to NDVO this week

Got aor2 email on may 24 saying it was transferred to Ottawa. Now for some reason Ottawa sent a digital copy back to Mississauga

Hi folks
Today has been exactly a month since our application has been moved to Ankara VO . They have starded processing our application June 21. Today I was checking GCKey account and understood that the background check part has been changed from " Your application is in progress. We wil send you a msg .... to we are processing your background check, we will send you a msg if we need more info." Has anyone else's status whose application is in VO changed too ?
I check mine 2 days ago and it was not like this. Even after Tuesday's system maintanence.
Any idea?

Hey guys,

Finally I got an email today from Canadian embassy in Beirut requesting my wife passport with 2 pictures and the email printed so they can issue her PRR visa. I applied march 29 and 4 month later everything is approved... that did not take time since my file was transfered to VO june 30.
