I sent in my schedule A on april 3rd through the webform. I got two responses from CIC on April 20th:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
While examining your file, we were happy to notice that the situation you have reported in your Web form is now resolved.

and a few minutes later a second email that said this:

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your file is currently located at a visa office outside Canada.
Because of the specific nature of your enquiry, we invite you to contact them directly in order to:

• Report important changes,
• Provide documents,
• Obtain information regarding the status of your application, or
• Enquire on an outcome to a request.

You will find the complete list of visa offices on our website.

I figured that meant it was good, and that it was sent to the Paris VO. No movement on ECAS since, so I called them today to confirm and the agent told me my file is still in missisauga, and that no schedule A was added to my file! Did this happen to anyone else? should i call back to try and get another agent? I resent a webform, and I am going to mail in a form as well.

I finally reached an agent that confirmed my application was approved 2 month ago and was mailed to my immigration consultant. I called him many time during the process and he said nothing is received from them. I am trying to inform him now that SA is done and he is not answering. I am really mad. If I remove the use of representative from my wife application, it will affect something to it?

I am so happy you got through. You can cancel your representative at any time, it will not affect your application in any way.

Hi folks,
I received a message on GCKey today, asking to submit two additional documents
1) A police certificate from Italy (I lived there for a year),
Do I need to send the original? (it doesn't say that it has to be original.)
2) Explanation and proof of intent to reside in Canada (I am the principal applicant)
I am thinking to write a letter saying that I have been applying some jobs, and attach the job applications, that I have my university diploma assessed by university of Toronto to be able to teach in Canada, plus my emails and correspondence from Ontario College of Teachers to work in public schools.
But these are all job related stuff. What else do you think I should add? How much I love my husband and so on?

Maybe you also can add some docs where you demonstrate some correspondence showing you are looking for a place where to live. As you intention consists not only from your job, but also a place where you going to live.

I am also in the same boat and i submit my pcc and schedule A in May 31 via webform. And my file transfered to london the same day.

I received an email on Friday from CIC after numerous technical difficulties in uploading my schedule A / Pcc and then finally just mailing it to them that they are " pleased to confirm that your schedule A and police certificates were received by the responsible office."

Does this mean the responsible office of Mississauga or my VO of my region?

Nothing has changed in ECAS or gckey.

It has been a week since receiving aor2, still no change in my ecas, is it normal or how long should it be for a new line to be added?

Dear Fellows, CPC-Mississauga has asked me for the second time for the below information:

"Your passport is due to expire in less than 12 months. Please renew your passport and submit a copy of
biographic information page of the new passport as a visa to Canada will not be issued on an expired,
or close to expiring passport. This must be received at this office within 30 days."

My passport however is already still valid for next 2 years (expiring at the end of year 2019) & i uploaded the same (bio-data/information+photo+signature pages) to MyCIC account once before as well but i am not sure why they are asking again to renew/upload a copy of it.

Any guidance/advice from seniors here would be greatly appreciated?

Hi! Just a question. Am I considered as a Canadian Citizen "exclusively" living outside of Canada if i'm staying here in the Philippines for 6mos now? I still pay my taxes and insurance there. I'm just waiting for my wife to get her PR approved before I go back. Thank you!
