out of curiousity, why are ghanna , syria and philipiness cases expedited? political reasons?

Can you please tell me where you saw Philippines cases are expedited? I have seen several posts which say the Manila VO requests passports after about 10 months and that is certainty not expedited.

Not all Philippines cases are expedited. Only Yolanda victims.

Maybe the assumption was just made from the spreadsheet. The two users who received AOR after only 8 days. The rest seem to be waiting just as long as anyone else though.

Hi,

I sent my application on March 25th and it was received on March 26th according to the tracking number. It was signed by BUD JAMEL.
I called CIC this morning and asked them how come I didn't receive AOR or SA until today especially that I have already started working on application received on March 27th. Then, the lady on the phone put me on hold for few minutes and when she came back she asked me if i put my email address on the form I said YES. Then she asked me for the tracking number and my email address again, she said she will contact CIC to ask them if they received it because she can't find my application on the CIC system.

I am worried now. Did the same thing happen to someone else before? Did they ask someone for their tracking number?

I am just praying for a good news because I can't handle any bad news right now. Fingers crossed

Same thing happened with my application. Don't worry. If tracking says they delivered your post you will get AOR and SA soon.

I'm sorry for your situation. You can click on the spreadsheet link below my name and that will take you to the spreadsheet where you can see the last dated AOR.

Try not to get angry with CIC because that doesn't lead to anything good for you. Call them and talk to them professionally.

I got email from them this morning:

Dear Client,

Due to the nature of your inquiry, we require the following information to access your immigration file:

Your surname (last name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document;
Your given name(s) (first name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document;
Your date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
Client ID Number;
Type of application (sponsorship of a spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, dependent child, or other relative); Inland or Overseas sponsorship?
The complete name and date of birth of the person you are sponsoring; and their Client ID number (if applicable)
Approximate date that the sponsorship application was submitted, and any tracking or proof of delivery you may have.

Well at least it's some progress.

We have a right to be angry because it's way past the processing time, and no word on what's going on. Not even a lousy AOR, they keep asking for Client ID #, but how are you supposed to give one when you don't even have an AOR letter? Giving an AOR at same time as SA, that's really lazy.

Hey I want to ask, do you have a criminal background, collected welfare before in the past, or something else that could affect your eligibility? Maybe that's what's causing the longer wait, they probably needed to take time to review your application.

I don't have anything, but mine's taking a while too.

sorry man I feel sad for you but stay strong like you've been , you gave us lots of hope when the wait was talking too long for us. We get inspired by most of your post Etc . Keep hanging in there everything will be alright this week . just take a deep breath for the wait will be over soon and to the rest if y'all good news is coming! We shall all overcome
