I'm wondering if anyone knows when to get updates after file is transferred to VO (Manila).

Hey all.. We sent our application in March but according to our tracking # it showed as never delivered so resent everything in April.. I thought we'd be an April applicant however I just received an email from CIC Mississauga that they received our package on March 25th.

Can you please add us to the March spreadsheet.

You'll only know by logging into ecas or when they send you doc requests. Manila doesnt send out AORs.

Hi,

I sent my application on March 25th and it was received on March 26th according to the tracking number. It was signed by BUD JAMEL.
I called CIC this morning and asked them how come I didn't receive AOR or SA until today especially that I have already started working on application received on March 27th. Then, the lady on the phone put me on hold for few minutes and when she came back she asked me if i put my email address on the form I said YES. Then she asked me for the tracking number and my email address again, she said she will contact CIC to ask them if they received it because she can't find my application on the CIC system.

I am worried now. Did the same thing happen to someone else before? Did they ask someone for their tracking number?

I am just praying for a good news because I can't handle any bad news right now. Fingers crossed

You know it could just be the call centre agent. When my AOR and SA was taking too long, I called and asked why. First time the agent found my app no problem. Second time, they had no record of me and hung up on me. Third time they found me again very quickly. So.. if you are worried you could call again.

Whew! Up to 44 applicants now for March. I remember thinking that 25 would be the max... Perhaps there is a huge spike across the board, causing the additional waitimes?

Something like 900 social insurance numbers were stolen with that heartbleed bug
I imagine there are extra security measures in place now because of that, especially in areas regarding immigration.
Combine that with their 4-day weekend and spring breaks.. it's frustrating to be in the thick of it, but not surprising with all things considered.

Judging by all the posts today, maybe things will rush along now!

April has about 20, and not too many people suggesting they've sent anything yet this month... hopefully CIC will catch up soon, and we will all be getting great news!!!

I think it's also because the Inland application are now going to Mississauga as well. Hopefully they hired more Officers to deal with the problem.

My VO is Hong Kong. Medical done on Feb 22, 2014. I m planning to stay in Aurora.
Husband is sponsoring me and 2 children. Hope to get SA soon.

I got an email from CIC asking for my personal info and tracking # so they can check the status of my update
