Thanks!

Do you think the proof of our relationship that I have submitted is going to suffice? I know obviously you can't say anything with guarantee, but just as a general idea..?
I could not think of anything else to provide them to make my case stronger...

I have a friend who submitted over 1500 pages of communications and over 300 photos and still his spouse sponsorship was denied because the CIC Officer who interviewed him and his wife thought they don't have much in common since my friend is over 10 years older than his wife. So you never know what the CIC officer who works on your case will think. Just relax and prepare a back-up plan just in case the sponsorship is denied.

Wow.
That's scary.

I don't understand what they want more than what you just mentioned above?
Do they actually want to see the couple being intimate in front of them, cause at times it feels like that's the only thing missing!

Holy sh*t. That makes me so nervous. My husband who I'm sponsoring is 13 years older than me. I have wedding, reception, honeymoon pics as well as pics of us while we were dating and pics of when we were living together after the wedding. My proof of travel to visit and when I went down there to live. Skype communication records. Records of financial assistance. A copy of the speech I made at the wedding (it was good, ppl cried). Letters of support from my grandparents and my mom. I wrote a letter directly addressing the age difference, explaining why I went for someone so much older and why it works. Also I'm pregnant and due in July so I'm hoping that that works in our favor.

I guess in the end if you get a jerk processing your file, or even just someone having a bad day, you can't control that. If you get denied you just have to appeal.

Please understand that I was not saying your sponsorship will be denied if there is big age difference between you and your spouse. The point I was making was that it depends on which CIC officer works on your case. So, again, just relax and hope for the best. And if the sponsorship is denied, there is appeal process.

Hi, please hear my story. I got married in the Philippines. And my husband is now in Canada and I am here the Philippines. Is it possible that my husband can file a divorce there in Canada even though we got married here?

If yes, will I be notified by the Canadian court about the divorce proceedings? You see I heard a lot of stories to the effect that Filipinos are getting divorce in Canada and got married again in Canada. I heard that the reason this is commonly done it’s because divorce is cheaper and easier than having an annulment proceedings in the Philippines.
And here's another thing we had a son.we had undergone our medical examination at a panel physician last january.
I didnt know if my husband filed our application.because last month he just told me he wants to divorce me.
Please I really need an answer about this issue. I hope you can clear my mind on these matters. Thank you very much and more power to you! God bless!

I'm sorry for what you are going through. This threat is for people who applied sponsorship in March, we are all relatively new to this and you may not get an answer in this threat. I advice you to start a new threat with your question at this forum http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/family-class-sponsorship-b5.0/

Good Luck everybody....

Hope they start March applicants this week!!

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I just sent my application via FEDEX today..it should arrive in Mississauga tomorrow. I felt like a mad person looking it over and over and over before I handed it over to them. Now all I can do is wait and see,
