The spreadsheet is looking awesome with all the colour, congrats to everyone! Seems CIC has finally got the ball rolling, can't wait until everyone gets their SA :D To those who haven't got theirs yet, it will come soon i'm sure! We know it was so hard waiting and not knowing, and now we are in for a loooong wait but at least it's good to know that everything was in order. Good luck to everyone and lets try to stay sane while our applications go through our respective VO's :P Speedy processing and visas all around!

Oh hey guys, on another note, I tried checking the ECAS thing today, but it doesn't seem to work, do I have to wait a few days before I can log in? Also, I have my UCI number from my SA letter, when I enter the surname/birthdate, do I use mine or my spouse?

I got the UCI number on May 06 and was able to login ECAS May 08, keep trying. When u login, you can see both sponsor and applicant details using the sponsor's UCI.

Thanks Bunny.

I hope the rest of you guys will get SA tomorrow, it'd be nice to start the weekend with good news.

Thanks guys, now that I finally have a UCI number, I can finally order GCMS notes, track my application, and not have to be left in the dark now.

Now the much longer wait begins :P

Yeah! cheers to you!!

One thing Mikey, what is this GCMS notes? what for?
I'm sorry I'm kinda new to these things because my husband(sponsor) is quite very busy from work. He doesn't even have the time to call CPC-M to follow up for our application :( :( :(, That is why when I read you already have SA how I wish ours would come today or tomorrow.

Thank you!

Yes thanks marjorlie, now its my turn to cheer you on while your hubby gets SA :)

GCMS notes lets you see in detail, the progress being made on your application. They will tell you the officer's personal comments on your application, whether your criminal/medical passed, whether you are missing certain things, etc. It's very detailed.

It's very helpful and when you see them comment something negatively about your application, it can give you a chance to send in extra evidence to counter those negative parts. For example, you can read comments like "Couple sent many pictures, but do not see many pictures of them with family members". This can be viewed as a negative to your application, so when you see this, you should go send in pics of you guys with family to the VO.

I got another email this morning from CIC. They now gave me my UCI number so I can login. When I called them to ask whether that means I am approved to sponsor my husband, then the lady on the phone told me the second email with my UCI number was just a response to their request to CPC Mississauga in regards to my application as they couldn't find it before in their system. She said i would get my SA soon.

Welcome Randidee! We will add you to spreadsheet shortly. Your visa office would be London, correct? And your meds date is feb 22? Ok? As for pm, I think you need more posts. But I have sent her a message as well.

Yes! London would be our visa office! Its so good to have a community to share this experience with! :)
