Hi guys,

Did any of you send latest NOA by email to CPP-O after receiving AOR?
If so can you suggest if you got a reply from CPP-O (other than the automated reply)?

Thanks!

Yes. I have sent mine. They do acknowledge receipt of docs (average 2-3 days).

Hi Andy2109,

The reply I got from them is:

Good Day,

Thank you for your email.

Please contact the Centralized Intake Office with regards to the attached office.

Please see the following email: CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca.

Regards,

Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa

What I don't understand is if I have received AOR with UCI and Application number and my file is "in process", why would they tell me to submit this request to CIO? Any thoughts on this?

This simply means that your file is still in CIO and not reached CPP Ottawa.

Thanks for your reply Andy2109!
I think the "in process" is not really in-process ;)

It is definitely 'in-process' but not at CPP Ottawa. It is 'in-process' but still at CIO for reasons unknown.

More than being happy, applicants with 'in process' status so quickly should be ready for longer waiting time.

how can you say that!?

@ aquareo

what did you write in the requested office for processing?
sydney or ottawa? I wrote sydney

There have been a couple of cases where the application was processed by Sydney and not Ottawa..check the old threads in this forum..

I don't see why in process now would result in longer wait times? I would expect the opposite.
