If you have "DM" for the sponsor, that's normal. If you have "DM" for the applicant BEFORE a PPR, that's a rejection.

What is PPR ? I apply my husband and daughter by family sponsor on March ,and can login CIC online first time and check is DM , is the reject?

PPR means Passport Request
you logged in for the first time and you filed in march
so your Decision Made is normal.

and the rejection DM is that when your filed got transfer and its been quite a long

hi guys ... nalilito ako .. san ba tayo mag simula sa counting... sa pag apply ba ng sponsorship ? or sa pag nakatanggap kana ng aor? kasi march 19 2012 nag apply ang asawa ko .. family sponsorship at open work permit... but work permit palang ang nag response last july.. 5... plz.. give some response

yes....this waiting is slow slow torture....and the worst thing is....there is nothing you can do but wait some more....

Sigh. That's quite unusual. Of course, e-cas is a toy system in any case, more about placating applicants (and sponsors) than it is about providing generally useful information.

I'm glad it wasn't a refusal - I do know in many cases, a DM prior to a PPR is an ill open (but apparently not always).

No, your case sounds like approval of the sponsor.

For a sponsored application there are TWO decisions: approval of the SPONSOR and then approval of the APPLICANT. A SPONSOR receives a DM fairly quickly, which almost always means that the sponsor is approved. An APPLICANT generally (but obviously there are exceptions) receives DM after the COPR or visa issue.

cover letter for CHC Delhi

i got the passport submission rqt from CHC DElhi. now i have to send my passport with coverletter so anyboby what material we have to put in coverletter. Anyone have format or sample coverletter for CHC (SPOUSE CASE).
