hi all , my wife and me at the point of sponsorship has been approved and the letter on its way to come at Cairo VO , how long usually does it take to be informed or just know it's has been delivered to Egypt ? , are we waiting just an email or any kind of announcement for interview ?, waiting isn't funny at all , when i think about how it isn't fair at all to keep two persons love each other to be apart, i got sad and mad , i wish the best for everybody to be together so soon and for our future with them to be full of happiness and ( two kids would be so perfect too , lol ) , alhamdd llah rab al3almeen 3ala kol she2 , happy Ramadan for all !!

Hi mamado....every visa office is different...some send out aor's and some don't......I don't know about the Cairo office.....there is a Cairo thread on this forum and they might be able to help you....yes the waiting times are long but you have to remember the end result and to keep faith...
 
ty KJG , i already know about that Cairo thread but it isn't active those days , i think the new months threads have attracted most of the members to them , but also i'm going to re-post it again at it .

Hi,I would want to know that who received the first email or letter on 3 July from CIC that approved step one , and did you see the status online is show DM (or what is your statys) ? My case is rececived email on 3 July for approved step one ,and online status is DM. Why I no need to provide the police check or anything else to CIC, I am afriad I cannot get the passport. :(
 
I have a question. On the CIC website, when I log in using my (Sponsor) details, it says 'we received null XYZs application for permanent residence on March 23, 2012.

What in the world does NULL mean? It's there on the decision made part as well. The file is in ND VO and we are waiting desperately for the PPR.

Decision made for sponsor on June 22,2012. Haven't heard from Beijing visa office yet. It has been three weeks. Waiting is really a torture.

I am the sponsor. First time here. Hope I can find some strength.

Null means there isn't a name typed in. It's just a computer glitch. Several people have reported it but it is not a big deal. It was get fixed and won't affect your case.

Sponsor decisions are made by CPC-M (or CPP-O), not by the visa office, so you wouldn't expect to hear from Beijing about the sponsor (only the applicant).
 
Did most of you also received the first email on 3 July and then check the status is DM on CIC online?
Is DM is the final step?

If you have "DM" for the sponsor, that's normal. If you have "DM" for the applicant BEFORE a PPR, that's a rejection.
