Either 4pm or 5pm, depends on the office. I sent it around 3pm their time (6pm my time). I'm so anxious. I just applied for several things (government wise) and I'm just a ball of anxiety with immigration and other government stuff going on aaaahhh!

I want that paper to cross the border with my husband at the end of july i figure that with the sponsorship approval should be enough evidence so that i'm not stuck at the border for more than 2 hours this time.

My experience with NYC was that a fax sent to them (by my attorney) took approximately five weeks for them to even notice. On the other hand, I did find that material sent via courier with the visa officer's name on it and the file number was processed within three days. So, your mileage may vary.

Yeah I don't have a visa officer's name or anything like that... Just "mail it to us" kinda thing. Here it is, copy and pasted:

Dear Madam,

You may mail it to the address below with file number reference.

Thank you

Hi everyone,

Here's a little bit of our story, we met in 2010, he's American and I'm Canadian, he came to Canada in October 2011. We married on St. Patrick's Day 2012. He's here on a multiple entry Visitor Permit, he left at the end of June :( to return to work because this is an unbelievably slow process to allow him to work.

We sent our application in to the Mississauga office, it was received March 26th. The application was sent to CPP-O (Ottawa) in June. We received a letter June 20th asking for my husband's medical. It was completed June 22nd. We are now approved in "Step One".

Does anyone know what the timeline is like for USA to CANADA thru CPP-O? I know the processing times say 12 months, is that on the pilot project?

Thanks!

Do I need to send anything else? Does this mean my package is complete and nothing is missing?

congrats.....!!!!

So I finally got some anwsers today. My physical file is actually at LA. Ottawa confirms this. Saying that it's physically in LA and it's in process. So cgagnon, hopefully yours is still in Ottawa, but mine ain't. *grumble* I was hoping for it to stay in Ottawa, it's only an hour and a half away. LA is... Really far LOL

At least they told me it's in process.
