Many things are going on lately! Great!

First of all my biggest congratz to Reynold for being the first March applicant with a visa in his hands. It gives us so much hope.
Wish you an amazing future! When and where are you planning to land?

@ zhaotianwu welcome to the thread. sorry but I have no idea how Beijing VO works and if they give an option for online payment. Could you call them and ask to be sure? Anyways they don't state anything about online payment in their site http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/china-chine/visas/beijing-pekin/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

@ JACKY74 As far as I've read around, the safest way to go is with BD issued to RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA
you can take a look here http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/fees-frais.aspx?view=d
Reynold paid also his at London VO so he can tell you which method of payment he used ;)
Thanks a lot thalia! you've been the most helpful amongts March appliacnts! hope you'll hear good news on your case soon!

Hi Thalia, thank you for your comment. Do you think faxing is better than emailing when it comes to contacting a local visa office? I've sent them email but didn't get anything, not even an automated reply. I'm considering sending them a fax, but only found that on their website they strongly discourage people using more than one method to contact them. I'm not sure faxing them will hurry things along or make it worse. Any thought on this? Thanks.

Send the RPRF to the address given to you in your snail mail. i believe you hve received one from V.O. there is also an sticker bearing the address of the VO, u can use that and sed thru Courier. the BD should be named to RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA. Make ure you have your name, immigration number, and address written at the back of the BD.

Yes, you could fax them cause you have to send your rprf soon. Even though I think they is no much of an alternative. It's the same that you would do if you were anywhere else and their site mentions the ways of payments. Issue a BD (which is also a safe choice) and send it to them along with anything else they might have asked for.
Oh well, you never know...you can always give it a try with the fax.

Reynold you are so sweet! Thank you for your wishes... Maybe one day most of us will manage to meet there. I know it's not that easy cause of the distances but... :D
