btw Jacky74, maybe you should correct the noc number on your profile.
At first I got confused, seeing 0361.
But now I'm glad to realize that you are 0631 and that they actually process our noc and not consider it as second priority. :)
Thank god at least 0631 seems t be procesed..
Looks like London VO has picked up quite a pace...
Congrats Jacky and best of luck to all )631 applicants waiting to be in process
Specially you SONIR.....your wait seems ridiculous now....

Hi Jacky,

1.The PCC you have has already expired, since VOs want it to be up to 3 months old when you submit them.
You can send the expired one, but still you have to show them that you already applied for a fresh one and tell them that you will submit it asap. This thing might hold you back for a bit.
2. You must send them a copy of your new passport. It would be a good idea to send it along with the missing report. It won't be a problem at all.

As for the status, you are moving fast! Immediately after you got IP they send you MR? Great!
Hope it will all run smoothly for you.

I will post your request for an updated status to the other thread.

Good luck! :)

I have a small query in my mind, (it may sound stupid to u people though :P), if Jacky has already left a country and he took the PCC after leaving, it means he has gotten the clearance from that country.

How can the effectiveness of this PCC, decreases with the passage of time, since he didnt even entered that country again. What do u say guys????

Nashe

I know and I totally agree with you that it's stupid! (not your question of course -there is no such thing-, I'm referring to the VO requests)
They might even accept his expired PCC, but that would be in the discretion of the officer.

Fact remains that CIC states "The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application."
In this case (also mine, since I didn't submit PCCs with my initial application) he should apply for fresh ones to be on the safe side, in case VO won't accept old ones.

Thanks Nash; I lived in that country for almost 5 years, only when I received 1st AOR Last March I applied in the Embassy for PCC, I got it after 2 months with only 25 days ahead to be expired, it was laying with them for two months 5 days before I received it with three months validity. That's not important so far. You have a valid point here, I never go back to that country since I left it 6 years ago and I don't know why they are issuing late PCC with 3 months validity only.
Valid point anyway.
Tanks Thalia for your prompt reply, I will follow exactly your advices hoping things will work out, when it comes to time it won't be a problem I can wait as long as the process is clear. I wish you will all hear good news at the soonest.

Last time address diappeare in Aug and I received MR.

Same happened to me. Medical received by CHC London on 18 Aug 2011 and address disappeared in the 3rd week. (just after receiving the medical)
I think this is indication assuring that you medical received and your file updated with nee medicals and waiting to be reviewed by Medical officer and also for background check.
I think in next time when address will disappear, we will get our PPR !!! Pray for God !!

Hi everyone, I'm a March applicant. My VO is in Beijing. Lately VO sent me an email requesting the Right of Permanent Residence Fee. I did not pay it up front when I file my application. Now I'm puzzle, should I send a cheque to local visa office in Beijing, or can I pay it online directly to their headquarter in Canada? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
(I'm currently in Canada so I prefer to pay with my credit card online)
