Hi, I am a student who completed the first year of my study in another province (Ontario), and now we have moved to Manitoba for my second year of study. My husband is on an open work permit, and he is working full-time in Manitoba. If, after six months, we apply under skilled workers in the Manitoba program, how many points will get deducted: 100 (for working) or 200 (for working and living or my studying)? My husband has not studied in another province but has worked there; only I have studied for one year (we will be putting a file on him). My one-year study in another province will impact our file. and our point for my study (-100) will get deducted, or only 100 for working will be deducted. It would be great if you could answer this. Thank you in advance.

Both will loose points due to ties to another province
