Not sure if Manila LVO is slow or fast. Since there’s backlog especially for PNP-O applicants, processing would be more than 6 months.Hi everyone,
Has someone applied through Manila LVO? I am trying to understand if it is one of these fast processing local visa offices... or not.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thank you.
That sucks. We always thought that FSW is way faster process unlike us under PNP.CIC informed a couple of weeks back that my file is being processed at Manila visa processing center.
I am an FSW-O applicant, April 25th AOR. Med's passed on 20th June and Additional Document Requested.
No update since then!
Will contact Manila after 25th OCT (when 6 months end!) to see if I can get anything out from them!
Sorry to hear, but I would tend to think you're nearing the end of the process!CIC informed a couple of weeks back that my file is being processed at Manila visa processing center.

I'm FSW-O, August 11 AOR and additional documents submitted. No news since then. Most FSWO with August AOR have been approved, not sure why some files take so long. Not sure if Manila LVO is slow or fast. Since there’s backlog especially for PNP-O applicants, processing would be more than 6 months.
What’s your timeline?

Feel free to share a contact number in Manila LVO if you have a good one.
Thanks
Looks pretty fast for your brother! Also Manila LVO?Thanks for your comments.
My brother applied on May 20th and got PPR and Visa in August and here I am also telling myself that I will get a decision soon!
Will share my experience once I get in touch with them after the 25th.
Well, since his file was processed so quickly, he never had to contact CIC and didn't even know where the file was processed.Looks pretty fast for your brother! Also Manila LVO?
Yes mate you're almost at the end of the tunnel
Wow, we almost have the same timeline (my timeline is in my post signature below). However, I got PPR about 90-100 days from AoR and we were processed in Ottawa. I wonder what's been keeping the LVOs from processing faster?CIC informed a couple of weeks back that my file is being processed at Manila visa processing center.

I had to provide additional PCC from Japan which probably explains some of the delays!Wow, we almost have the same timeline (my timeline is in my post signature below). As long as you're not past the 6-month mark, then this may be all there is to it. Fingers crossed for you, dude.I had to provide additional PCC from Japan which probably explains some of the delays!
